Creating a network group of LGBT+ employees (and allies) can be an important step towards an inclusive company or organization. The network makes the sexual and gender diversity within your organization visible and can contribute to the understanding and policy-making of your organization on these topics.
This network can also function as a support and networking group and provide a space for exchange of practices.
In recent years many networks have started up in companies (e.g. Accenture, BNP Paribas Fortis, ING,…) and in government organizations (Federal government, police, defence,…). These networks meet up at the Open@Work events.
